"How pretty your face is matters so little in comparison to how pretty your heart is. God is much more concerned with the state of our hearts than anything else, and if we are battling other girls around us- cutting them down instead of lifting them up- we are in sin, and He is against it. We are called to love each other as we love ourselves. How often can we say that we were kind and tenderhearted toward one another at the end of that day? Kindness is a lost virtue, and girls, we just have to show it to one another. After all, we know how hard it is to be a girl in today’s world. Why would we make it harder for anyone else? From now on, let’s make it a priority to look out for one another’s hearts. Let’s take special measures to be kind and tenderhearted to other girls regardless of the way they treat us. If you have been harboring bitterness or a mean spirit toward another girl, ask God to forgive you and go to her and make it right. Remember that we all have a special role in God’s bigger picture, and we can help one another find our purpose if we can decide not to be mean girls."
